Waxworms - Galleria mellonella
There is nothing more delicious to your pet Strauch's spotted newt or Brown Anole than our plump and juicy Waxworms. Reptiles find our Waxworms so delicious that they can be likened to candy bars for critters! And with 1000 Waxworms, your going to be making a lot of hungry critters real happy, we guarantee it.
Waxworms, the caterpillar larvae of wax moths, are very popular as live food for a wide variety of critters due to their high fat content, their ease of breeding, and their ability to survive for weeks at low (not freezing) temperatures.
KEEPING YOUR WAXWORMS HEALTHY
Waxworms will last from one to two weeks at room temperature (70°F - 75°F). They can be kept cool at 50°F, where they will become dormant. They can last up to 8 weeks in your refrigerator provided the temperature is not set too low. They must be stored in low humidity so if the bedding feels moist when they are delivered, please leave the lid off to let them dry out.
